PDF Days Europe 2018PDF is used in almost every significant organization worldwide. From desktop documents to content management systems to transactions, an enormous proportion of modern business activity uses PDF technology in one way or another.

PDF may be commonplace, but leveraging PDF for maximum capability and efficiency in business operations is not.

PDF Days Europe, the annual PDF technology education event, will take place from 14 to 16 May 2018 in Berlin at the Hotel Steglitz International. Of the many good reasons for users to participate, here are five of the best:

  • This year’s PDF Days Europe includes a track dedicated to users, with user reports and practical solutions for business processes.
  • PDF Days Europe brings the PDF industry together, so it’s possible to learn about and compare different solutions easily and effectively. The “race against the clock” session on May 15 is an always-popular event at which vendors must present their solutions in just five minutes.
  • PDF Days participants include not only users but also developers, vendors, service-providers, consultants and academic experts. It’s an ideal platform for making interesting and useful contacts.
  • From education on meeting accessibility obligations to real-world success stories, users receive direct recommendations for action which they can implement in their everyday life. In addition to the User-focused track during May 14-15, the Post Conference on 16 May features best-practice guidance on accessible document authoring and other subjects.
  • Breathing the proverbial Berlin air can be really inspiring. Berlin is not only the capital of Germany, but also an attractive, easily accessible business and technology location and a symbol of successful change and diversity.
