axaio MadeToTag Workshop on April 29, 2020 in Berlin: Creation of accessible PDFs directly from your InDesign layout – with axaio MadeToTag

Under the umbrella of this year’s PDF Days Europe in Berlin, axaio will be hosting a MadeToTag workshop day during the Post-Conference on April 29, 2020.

You want to create accessible PDF documents with minimal effort directly during your layout process? With some basic knowledge you can achieve this from within InDesign using axaio MadeToTag – without manual rework in the PDF!
In this German-speaking hands-on day workshop, which we will hold together with our partner Klaas Posselt from einmanncombo, participants will learn how to create accessible PDF documents with Adobe InDesign. You will find out what an accessible PDF is and what requirements such documents have to fulfill. With this knowledge and using best practice examples, you will learn about strategies of creating PDF/UA-compliant documents and forms efficiently with Adobe InDesign and axaio MadeToTag. In addition, solutions for classic problems will be presented.

Contents:

• Basics of accessible documents
• Overview of the requirements for such documents
• Strategies and targeted procedures for implementing accessible document production
• Possibilities and limitations of Adobe InDesign
• Finding solutions for problems in everyday work
• reliably preparation of documents for output- master difficult content: tables, footnotes, tables of contents and insufficiently prepared documents
• Strategies for creating and maintaining accessible PDF forms
• Checking of accessible PDFs for compliance with the PDF/UA standard

Requirements:

• Own computer with at least Adobe InDesign CS6
• Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign
• Workshop language: German
