Karlen Communications' latest survey focuses on AT users' experience of PDF.
Now in its fourth year, this survey gathers usage information and perceptions from people with disabilities who use adaptive technology specifically to access PDF documents.
Karlen Communications' intent in gathering this feedback is to promote support for accessible/PDF/UA conforming PDF documents by document designers, PDF reader/viewer developers and the developers of adaptive technology.
The survey is annual, allowing Karlen Communications to track marketplace uptake on features, highlight new issues, and draw attention to problems that have (or have not) been corrected. Their published report (see the and collate updated feedback on end user perceptions, especially regarding the proportion of PDF documents encountered that remain inaccessible.
Take the PDF and the User Experience Survey 2018! Only completed surveys will be used as tabulated results. Contact information is needed to validate the research, but will not be used for marketing purposes, nor will such information appear in any published results.
