Matthew first started working with PDF technology in 1999, investigating document semantics in PDF as part of his PhD research, sponsored by Adobe. Matthew has worked for Adobe since 2005 in various technical roles and manages teams working on PDF technology spanning the document cloud, including Mobile, Desktop and Web. In addition to his engineering management role, Matthew has been a representative to the ISO committees developing the PDF, PDF/A and PDF/UA since 2010 and is an active member of several PDF Association TWGs.
